Photobiomodulation Therapy
Photobiomodulation Therapy
How does photobiomodulation work?
A laser emitting light at a precise frequency imparts a gentle warmth, systematically administered to the patient’s head, neck, and oral region. This specific wavelength of unseen light facilitates the relaxation of tense and compromised tissues by enhancing blood flow and alleviating constraints associated with the body’s fascial layer. By focusing on these constrained areas and optimizing tissue relaxation, we observe significant reductions in pain and inflammation, coupled with increased circulation. Essentially, the tissue is not only allowed to mend but is also reacquainted with the brain as rejuvenated, robust, and fully operational tissue.
Utilizing a specific laser wavelength (1064nm), subtle energy, experienced as a mild warmth on the skin with a precise sequence revitalizes the sensory system, fine-tunes motor nerves, and fosters improved nerve-muscle interactions, setting the stage for harmonious reflexes and muscle activity. This is is non-thermal and maintains DNA integrity.
For optimal results, it is best complemented with bodywork and osteopathy.
